This may be a stupid question.
(Yes, I know it is, but figured I'd ask anyway.)

Has anybody else named one of their kids after a Rolling Stone?

I tried to convince my wife to go for KEITH, but she wanted no part of it. At the time he was starting the long decline.

BRIAN she actually went for. But this was 1983 and not being a fan, had no clue as to who he was or what he was about.

As for my son, he could care less. Likes the Stones' hits, went to two shows with me, and grew up liking Nirvana and Green Day.

P.S. Actually liked the name BRIAN before there was a Rolling Stones. One of my boyhood friends, a favorite uncle, too, had it.
On our list of Irish names, it was on that, also.
(But KEITH would have been a strictly Stones move!)

I call my girls My Glimmer Twins...does that count?

I once had 2 iguanas...Jagger & Bowie...and one before that...Iggy...since we already went off topic I figured I would chime in

Personally, I don't think I could name a son/daughter after an entertainment figure.

If I were to name him/her after someone it would probably another family member.

But The stones all have pretty normal names...Its not like you were going to name the kid Ringo, Elvis, Madonna or Beyonce.
