on the one hand, i'd say don't waste your time on it.

on the other hand, the post count and the date we all originally registered on the old novogate board tell alot about someone's posting mettle....give an idea into who rules the roost, so to speak.

When editing your post count we can also modify your registration date  :)

Meg - It woke me up - that hit in southern IL - about 300 miles south of us.
First thing I did when I realized what happened was check the china cabnets...not kidding.

I don't really care if the post count is restored or not, but I am a little pissed that the bar is gone. I used to love pouring myself a cold one before hitting the post button. Ya'll are slippin'!

My two cents is a new line somewhere in the sig that says "Rocks Off member since .  . . " and give the year only.  That way, the vets can be tastefully distinguished from the upstarts.  The ones with the huge post counts will have them again, as is already apparent.

BUT...what about the folks that joined up in 2002 but make one post a year?
